Abstract:

The article presents the results of the study, which purpose was to test the hypotheses reflecting the inter action of the development of the raw material sector with the socio-economic dynamics. The concepts reflecting different views on the relationship of the commodity sector and national development were the methodological basis. The distinguishing feature of this research is that the 15 post-Soviet countries, having early stage of the public institutions formation, including the quest of the model of the natural resources effective involvement in economic activity, were the object of the study.
