Abstract:
The paper analyses up-to-date economic development tendencies and peculiarities of competition in global market. As a result, core competences of a company are considered the basis of its competitive position. The paper reviews the evolution of resource-based theories; an organizational competence and its structure are defined as well as specific features of core competence and its role in providing company’s competitiveness in global market.
