In the context of growing socio-economic, financial and international turbulence, which is accompanied by a change in the political and ideological configuration of the world system, economic theory faces large-scale internal and external challenges. On the one hand, there is a process of comprehending emerging problems and achievements of economic theory, a search for a methodology for future development, and groping of promising scientific tasks. On the other hand, new objects are included in the field of theory, not only its methods are rethought, but also the subject. Overall, economic theory is like an expanding universe today, the constituent parts of which are moving away from each other with increasing speed. The search for answers to new challenges goes both within the framework of neoclassical orthodoxy and beyond it. Under these conditions, a critical and at the same time creative look at the results and prospects for the development of economic theory, a well-founded vision of its future is needed. We propose to devote the special issue of the Journal to these questions. The issue is planned for No 1, 2023.
We invite authors to present their theoretical developments, alternative to the mainstream and complementary to it, which can adequately describe, explain and forecast the development of the current situation in economic science and economic activity. The Journal welcomes studies prepared and carried out in line with intra- and interdisciplinary economic synthesis, conceptual studies, studies containing the results of putting forward and testing new theoretical hypotheses, etc.
The editorial board accepts manuscripts until January 10, 2023 to e-mail jet@uiec.ru. All received materials will be reviewed and must be designed in accordance with the requirements of the Journal (https://en.jet-russia.com/for-authors/requirements-for-articles/ )
