Abstract:
The authors have made an attempt to comprehend theoretical and methodological approaches to the analysis of international economic integration (MEI). We considered the main domestic, foreign approaches and schools from the point of view of the evolution and the essence of integration processes in the world economy, as well as provided the comparative analysis of the “old regionalism” and the “new regionalism”. Within the framework of the approaches and schools, the concepts of integration, MEI, regional economic integration, etc. are revealed.
