Abstract:

The article substantiates the thesis that a mandatory condition for the success of economic reforms is not only their scientific validity, but also public trust to the conductors of these reforms. This conclusion is based on historical foreign and domestic experience of reform. In this regard, special attention is paid to the analysis of the dynamics of the Soviet economy during the reform of 1965, and the last decades of the USSR.
