Abstract:
This article discusses the role of innovative component of a favorable image of the region. Based on the analysis of domestic and foreign experience there were identified the main prerequisites for the formation of innovative image of the region as the synthesis features, reflecting the status and possibilities of scientific, technological and innovation development of the territory. Author have researched the problems of creating innovative image of the region on the example of Sverdlovsk region, one of the leaders among the subjects of the Russian Federation on the level of development of science, technology and innovation. It was paid special attention to bridge the gap between scientific and technical potential and demand for innovation by the production and innovation activity of enterprises. As one of the mechanisms of innovation capacity and enhance the image of the region as innovation oriented territory the author looks at the scientific and technological parks. It was proposed formula of innovative image of Sverdlovsk region as a region of high innovative capacity for leadership in the field of modern production and a number of critical technologies and justified necessary to strengthen innovative image of Sverdlovsk region.
