Abstract:
One of the most discussed topics in the field of industrial development and the sphere of modern technologies is the fourth industrial revolution — the Industry 4.0. Currently, the economy has entered a phase of rapid development of information and industrial technologies. Intellectual production systems essentially change the existing shape of the industry. There is a high-quality transition to the new industrial paradigm, in which all technological and organizational elements are interconnected among themselves. At that, each of them works in mutual synchronization with others, optimizes and arranges the activity taking into account the changes in the external environment. Development of high technologies and their general introduction means the beginning of the new industrial revolution, the fourth one since the steam engine has been invented. The Western world is at the cutting edge of technical progress, but now it has more competitors in different parts of the world. The purpose of the research is the analysis of features and main signs of the network complimentary productions realized in network economy within the concept «the Industry 4.0». The main approaches of the study are the reproduction, institutional and synergetic approaches. For calculations and analytical procedures, the authors apply econometric methods. The article presents the authors’ approach to the definition of the network complimentary productions in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. The authors carried out the assessment of the prospect for the development of technologies and markets of Industry 4.0. We also evaluated the benefits for the development of these technologies in Russia and mechanisms of their introduction in the network complimentary fields of the economy. The authors conducted the analysis of global trends of transition of the network complimentary fields of the economy to use the model of Industry 4.0. The results of this study indicate the main advantages of Industry 4.0 as well as the main tendencies in the network complimentary productions.
