Abstract:
The representatives of the various sciences have used innovation as a category for more than 100 years, but its content still remains a matter of argument. The article reveals the inner nature of the innovation phenomenon as a process and as a result following the analysis of the evolution of ideas about the meaning of a term. The article also determines the legal framework for innovation activities regulation at the international and national level.
