Impact of organization and motivation mechanisms on knowledge creation initiative: empirical evidence from Perm industrial enterprises

Abstract:

The paper explores relationship between organization and motivation mechanisms and initiative behavior of employees in the field of innovation. The authors determine the following mechanisms: flexible organizational structure, culture of self-development and self-organization, leadership and intrinsic motivation. For empirical analysis partial least square method is applied, and also database collected in 2014, which contains the answers of 118 respondents, representatives of 15 large and middle manufacturing enterprises of Perm region. The paper revealed significant positive influence of organization and motivation mechanisms on initiative behavior of employees.
