Conceptual aspects of measuring creativity in economy of Russian regions

Abstract:

The article deals with the formation of the competitive and creative economy in the Russian context. The author has identified components of creative development of territorial communities and criteria for this process. The list of indicators of level of creative development was substantiated in this article and there was proposed original method of identifying the positions of Russian regions in the ranking of creative potential. There was compiled rating of creativity for some regions of Russian Federation which based on data from a regular statistical reports.
