Comparison of Transaction Costs of Industrial and Retail Enterprises

Abstract:

The article is devoted to the relevant issue – the analysis of transaction costs. The issue of evaluating and managing the transaction costs of commercial and industrial enterprise is a topical one and represents a rather complex task. Analyzing the transaction sectors of the economy, we identify a set of key factors that facilitate reducing or increasing transaction costs in the areas where a company can raise profits and achieve a significant advantage over its main competitors as well as to win a better position in a target market. The article presents the analytical review of scientific literature on this topic of research. Transaction costs and their role in the activities of both commercial and industrial enterprises are considered.
