The Institutional Theory Formation

Abstract:

The article presents the main stages of formation of the institutional economic theory from the works of K. Marx and F. Engels through research of t. Veblen and J. Commons to modern model representations. Detail commended the works, awarded the Nobel prize in Economics. Allocated theory of institutional traps of V. Polterovich, analysis dichotomy “needs — opportunities” in the works of V. Maevsky, establishment of the institute of the state in study of A. Nekipelov, model approaches for knowledge economy of V. Makarov, system-integration theory of G. Kleiner and a number of author's results on institutional modeling. The basic possibilities of institutional theoretical description for economic systems were demonstrated.
