Theoretical foundations of company’s resource strategy

Abstract:

The paper discusses the theoretical basis for the resource strategy formation and realization in order to determine its nature, the provisions in the enterprises strategic plans system, as well as their relationship with the main theoretical concepts traditionally used in the science of strategic management. To clarify the characteristics of resource theory, the author focuses on the evolution of the concept of «resources». Principles of resource strategy construction and the definition of its specific characteristics provide insight into the phenomenon of resources strategy, as well as its role and importance in the processes of strategic planning and business management from the perspective of resource theory.
