Abstract:
The object of the article is to choose a conceptual basis as a platform in order to make decisions concerning practical land relations issues. A review method of the following economics approaches to evaluation of land relations in contemporary Russia is represented in the article: neoclassical, evolutionary-institutional and game theory formalism approaches. Each approach is elaborated in the context of advantages and disadvantages in terms of evaluation the most suitable type of land relations for an economy. As a result the institutional matrices theory as a part of evolutionary-institutional theory is considered to be the most appropriate basis which suggests non-market type of land relations in Russia.
