As the 300th anniversary of the Russian Academy of Sciences is approaching, it is time to recall the achievements of academic and practicing Russian economists who contributed to the development of economic theory. To this end, AlterEconomics is planning to publish a Special Issue (No. 1, 2024) «Synthesis, evolutionary approach and strategic planning in the history of Russian economic science«. The Special Issue will combine the contributions of Russian economists to heterodox economic theory, both pioneering works and world-class research. Unfortunately, most of them are still insufficiently known among heterodox economists domestically and internationally. Therefore, we invite authors to remember famous and less famous Russian scientists, analyze their studies and examine the most relevant aspects of their heritage.
Submission: until December 30, 2023 via online submission system. All accepted articles are subject to peer review. Submissions should meet the general requirements of the journal.
