Abstract:

The relevance of this paper stems from the fact that digital economy is a driver for development, achievement of competitiveness, and creation of innovations in modern conditions. Introduction of digital technologies in the industrial and social fields helps to reduce costs, increase productivity, improve the quality of life. One of the most effective models of socio-economic interactions in the conditions of digitalization is the digital platform model. This paper discusses the impact of digital platforms on economic relations, explores the growing role of network effects. In addition, some approaches to the classification of digital platforms, as well as their basic functions, are considered.
