Modern Methodology for Studying Venture Capital Financing of Innovative Projects

Abstract:

The study is focused on the current aspects of the methodology for the formation of the system of sources and design of the models of venture capital financing of innovative scientific and technological projects, primarily, on a new technical and technological basis (crowd technology). The purpose of the study — on the basis of modern institutional methodology to develop and structure the main assessment criteria and design of models of venture investment for preparation of evidence-based organizational and economic decisions. The main task is to identify current trends in the development of venture investment system in the country and abroad, as well as the tools and methods used to support it. Based on the study of statistical and factual information, studies of foreign and domestic scientists, as well as the author’s own research, I have identified methodological and methodical developments, criteria, principles and methods for the formation of a modern system of venture investment (financing). The system of assessment criteria and design of models offered by the author can be used by the “Russian Venture Company” for the development of the Strategy for the development of venture market and private equity of the Russian Federation.
