Abstract:

In modern conditions of ambiguous development of the deepest European integration (EU) and increased attention to the regionalization and defragmentation of the world economy, which is clearly expressed in the growing number of regional agreements in recent years, the assessment of the effectiveness of international economic integration is extremely topical. The aim of the article is to systematize the existing methodological approaches to the assessment of international economic integration. The basis of the research is based on factorial and integrated approach. The methodology of accounting for quantitative and qualitative, static and dynamic, universal and single parameters has been used for the analysis. These methods allow us to compare the results of integration both as a whole and as its individual participants, providing a basis for further decisions on its development. This tool provides an opportunity to quantitatively and qualitatively assess the complexity of the integration interactions of member states of the Union. The authors have contributed by providing a classification of methods according to certain criteria and a visual schematic presentation. That alone will be convenient for researchers who are engaged in international economic integration and will form the basis for the development of the authorial assessment of the current state and prospects of development of the EAEU.
