Abstract:
This paper presents author’s definitions of human life price and human life value basing on the conducted analysis of economic theories. Cost approach was applied to estimate the cost and price of life, which allowed to equally evaluate each person in the society at different periods of his life. Algorithms for calculating the price and value of a human life are presented, examples of assessments of cost and price of human life in some foreign countries and in the Russian Federation are given.
