The evolution of agglomeration economics

Abstract:

Agglomeration processes and agglomeration effects are the object of attention of scientists for more than two decades. But some economic research have preceded the, for example, the economies of cities and location theory. The article deals with attempts of systematization researches of new economic geography in agglomeration economics field. In the course of the work was not only identified predictors of this research area and identified current trends in international studies, but also the prospects of development of the study of sintering processes in the Russian economic science.
