Abstract:
The article examines the theoretical basis of the government’s economic policy, which is the political economy. The scientific legacy of home economists is used widely. The article provides recommendations for the improvements of the economic policy with consideration of the Russian scientific school traditions. Particular attention is paid to the principles of the economic policy and its efficiency. The author engages the theoretical statements, made by the representatives of the Russian school, into the scientific analysis.
