The journal welcomes articles for the next thematic issue “Economic Theory, Economic Education and the Digital Economy” (No. 1, 2025).
Is economic theory making sense of the changing order of things? What can it give to the current students? How does the new digital environment affect the relationship between economic theory and economic practice? Perhaps Generation Z, who have been exposed to modern digital technologies, mobile communications and the internet since childhood, have more to say about economics based on Big Data than venerable theorists do on the basis of the concepts they develop? How is the relationship between economic theory and economic education in the digital age evolving as the global world order shifts? Are the centers of production and consumption of economic knowledge shifting, becoming more universal or specific? What is happening in the relationship between economic science and ideology?
We hope to find answers to these and other related questions in the articles that the journal will collect in the thematic issue “Economic Theory, Economic Education and Digital Economy”.
